Job Description

Planar is seeking a detail-oriented Government Sales Operations Specialist to support their Federal, State, and Local government sales efforts. This role involves managing opportunities, quotes, and reports, ensuring compliance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of government procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Create and maintain Federal, State, and Local government opportunities and quotes in Salesforce.

  • Administer the Government Deal Registration program on Teams Government.

  • Enter opportunity, quote, and sold opportunity information in Salesforce.

  • Review daily orders to ensure correct end-user ownership.

  • Update open opportunities quarterly.

  • Generate monthly and quarterly sales reports.

  • Provide weekly revenue and backlog data to the government team.

  • Participate in CPG calls.

  • Prepare government orders for accurate routing.

  • Serve as the primary contact for order lookups.

  • Work with legal on SAM renewals.
