Job Description
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for leading and aligning all revenue-generating functions across the organization, including sales, business development, client growth, and revenue strategy. This executive will drive sustainable revenue growth, optimize go-to-market execution, and build scalable processes while partnering closely with the CEO and executive leadership team. The role requires a strong financial services or regulated industry background, including an active or previously held Series 6 or Series 7 license.
Key Responsibilities

Own and execute the company’s overall revenue strategy, including sales, account management, and growth initiatives.

Lead and scale high-performing sales and revenue teams, ensuring alignment across channels and markets.

Develop and optimize go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and client acquisition frameworks.

Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and performance metrics to support predictable revenue growth.

Partner with Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to ensure revenue strategies align with regulatory and financial requirements.

Oversee key client relationships, strategic partnerships, and enterprise-level negotiations.

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements associated with Series 6 or Series 7 environments.

Present revenue performance, forecasts, and growth strategies to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Evaluate and implement sales technology, CRM tools, and data-driven insights to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Identify new market opportunities, products, and distribution channels to expand revenue streams.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in revenue, sales, or business development roles.

Series 6 or Series 7 license required (active or eligible to reactivate).

Proven success leading revenue growth in a financial services, investment, insurance, or similarly regulated environment.

Strong understanding of compliance, licensing, and regulatory considerations impacting revenue generation.

Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead executive-level sales and revenue teams.

Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills with executive presence.
